Project Otaku’s current staff includes some of the blogosphere’s most distinguished personalities, whose writing skills supercede any and all standards of excellence…
Ah, who am I kidding. Here’s some info on us :
Gamer, writer, and anime lover. Self-proclaimed horror movie buff. Afflicted with a voice fetish and an overall strange person. These all describe Mrs Blunder. Oh, and apparently so does “Red” and “Boss Lady.” Follow her on Twitter @MrsBlunder or add her on steam!
Nelson Rolon aka Anime-Guardians (Co-founder, Editor in Chief)
Busy bee from Brooklyn, getting an M.F.A. in TV Production. Likes his anime super serious, super artsy, super innovative, and super crazy. Check out his personal blog at Anime-Guardians.com, or hit him up on Twitter @AnimeGuardians; as a matter of fact, do both.
A die-hard anime and manga fan since he was able to read those subtitles. Been writing for various websites concerning anime and manga culture for the past four years – this qualifies him as an expert. Now he hosts his own podcast, where he debates topics ranging from video games, movies, TV, and of course anime and manga. Follow his podcast, Nerdy Enough, on soundcloud, iTunes (search for “Nerdy Enough”), and Facebook. Follow Francis on Twitter @tensec.
Silver Blaze (Editor and Reviewer)
First and foremost, this quirky gal’s a writer. Without writing, we’d probably have a mess of blood, skull, and brain matter to clean up, because her head would totes explode! Second to that comes her hobbies as a gamer and avid reader with an unending quest to find the greatest storylines ever. Unfortunately, most of the time it’s a harrowing journey full of thorn bushes and Mary Sues, but this lass just doesn’t give up hope! She’s a part-time novelist, part-time workshop leader, part-time blogger, and full time spaz.
Sytar Embassy aka Will Swanson (Reviewer)
A full-blooded otaku for about four years now, after first watched the original Fullmetal Alchemist; since then, it’s been one endless quest for the next best anime. It’s a journey he walks as a cold wind grazes his cheek and the moon is his only light of hope (sounds mighty lonely to me. Someone give him a hug). He makes his aniblogging debut here at Project Otaku. Follow him on Twitter @SytarEmbassy.
TONY IS A GOD FROM NYC AND IS FULL OF RAGE! HIS LOVE OF ANIME CAME FROM THE DIRTY STREETS OF CHINATOWN WHEN WATCHING DBZ IN CHINESE. HE GREW TO LOVE THE WORLD OF OTAKU CULTURE SINCE THE EARLY ’90S. HE MUSES ABOUT MANGA AND PSYCHOLOGY AT MANGA THERAPY.
Born with the Reading Steiner, Blue has traveled many world lines to find the best anime ever! Really! While searching, Blue passes his time by reviewing all anime that cross his path as he tries to spread the word of otaku-dom to the world. Follow the good word on twitter @DudasJay.
Xemness has always been an avid gamer. From the SNES to the PC, it’s his passion. At the top of the myriad games he plays comes RPGs, with racing games at the bottom. He’s also got a rather unhealthy addiction to League of Legends, apparently. Keeping it short, he finds that the best advice to give is to tell people to do what makes them happy! (What a nice guy!)
Computer student, food enthusiast, DutchSanta has been playing games since he could hold a controller. From video to tabletop, strategy to breakneck action, casual to hardcore, triple A to indie, and just about everything in between, he’s always got his ear to the ground for the next big (or even small) thing. Follow him on Twitter @misternitsua, or add him on Steam (DutchSanta) or PSN (also DutchSanta).
Shaine Scalph, but the ladies call him Shaine Scalph (Writer)
An aspiring writer desperately wants to do anything related to media. Shaine has done amateur freelance work for sites like Japan Cinema, Sequel Buzz and Martial Arts Movie Junkie for a few years. Oh, he works for Project Otaku too. When he’s not writing until his fingers bleed, he’s watching movies, listening to Electronic music, and staring into the ceiling wondering what went wrong. Wrong with what, you ask? Everything, and nothing. Follow him on Twitter @RemixOfChoom and find him on Facebook to see what (un)important things he’s up to.
Daulton or best known as CrunchDrop or korosu_ over the internet. I’m a Web Designer and Web Developer with 2 years of experience in web design for small websites. But my passion doesn’t end there I founded the anime and manga medium News Website “SodiumSecure” as you may know I’m a big Linux user and beta tester for Phone apps and PC Games. Lucy is a British 22 year old MA student studying Japanese history with an all consuming love of manga, comics, Studio Ghibli and Japanese television dramas. When not staring at a computer screen I’m baking, taking photographs or being a huge history nerd.
A Canadian living in the city of Vancouver, he enjoys all sorts of anime and games. From the trashy dumb shows to the deep and mature classics, he’ll take it all.
